Liebensunwerten lebens By Alisa Craddock
One can see that Obama's plan as outlined above, though representing redistribution of wealth, does not sound so threatening on the surface. But the actual bill, (HR 3200) sneakily and hastily put together without any Republican input, is a ghoulish nightmare that would make Hitler proud, and goes far beyond the scope of the plan outlined above. See for yourself on this analysis provided by the Liberty Counsel, a religious public interest law firm. Here are some of the provisions:
So our great country, it seems, has migrated from "right to life" to "right to die" and that will soon become "duty to die" under Obamacare.. If that doesn't make your skin crawl, you are not paying attention. The evil implied in this health care bill is too gruesome to contemplate. There is much in this bill reminiscent of Nazi Germany. If the government is going to decide who lives and who dies (by deciding whether or not you get treatment), it leaves the door open for all sorts of mischief, including preferential treatment based on political or religious viewpoints, genocide by attrition of those denied health care because they were deemed unworthy of life (such as children with handicaps), denial of treatment for the entire post-war baby boom generation, who paid a lifetime into both social security and medicare, and who now may reap the benefits of neither. It opens the door for reproductive control – another perversion of "reproductive rights". Now the government will be intruding on your so-called right to abort, "helping" you decide to get that abortion. Suppose, for example, you are a woman expecting a Down syndrome child, or your child has some other congenital condition. If the government refuses to pay for any medical expenses for the delivery and medical care of the child, it puts overwhelming pressure on the expectant mother to abort her child. If no resources are available to her, she will face the possibility of utter impoverishment if she does not abort. That smacks of eugenics. If the government decides a Catholic mother has had too many kids, her medical care could be denied as well, unless she agrees to tubal ligation. It could also lead to mandatory sterilization eventually. Most troubling of all is the plan for cutting $500 billion dollars from health care benefits for seniors. Every five years you will be required to attend a counseling session to discuss end of life issues. If you get sick in the interim, you'll receive additional "counseling"—probably so that the government can monitor when to cut off your benefits. There will be tremendous pressure to do what is "best for your family" or "best for society". This is probably intended to help you deal with the denial of care you can expect, and to encourage you to accept your fate. You will not be able to buy supplemental insurance to cover what the government won't cover, and the grim prospect of active euthanasia is very real (it is already a reality in Holland where, despite laws that require the consent of the patient, doctors admit patients are euthanized without consent quite often). The grisly death of Terri Schiavo, deprived of food and water until she expired, and the government's cooperation in that, stand as a grim foreshadowing of what we can expect. Consider that if you tie your dog up in the backyard and deprive it of food and water, you will be arrested for cruelty to animals, even if the animal is terminally ill or brain damaged. But who will answer for the evil done to Terri Schiavo? What happened to "First, do no harm"? It is unlikely there are even conscience provisions under Obama's plan for those who refuse to perform abortions, or to carry out such cruel orders as those imposed on Terri. Consequently, many will leave the profession, or leave to practice elsewhere if they can, and that will leave us with doctors who are willing to go along with the "mandate". Population control has been used throughout history as a rationalization for state-endorsed murder. If you want to have a population that is compliant and cooperative in the global agenda, this is a good way to eliminate those who aren't so cooperative. HR3200 is riddled with preferential treatment loopholes (such as union participation or community organization involvement, both of which butter the bread of the Left). But it is primarily aimed at population control and eugenics, and, combined with the Climate Change agenda, will change our lives, our culture, and our political landscape forever. As Mark Steyn writing in National Review warns: …health care is the fastest way to a permanent left-of-center political culture. That's its attraction for an ambitious president: It redefines the relationship between the citizen and the state in a way that hands all the advantages to statists — to those who believe government has a legitimate right to regulate human affairs in every particular." It is not unreasonable to be very, very concerned that this bill, should it become law, might usher in the "reign of unheard of terror" that the Pope's namesake foretold back in 1920. The rule of law has left our land, and we are in the hands of a well-organized and dangerous elite that have a twisted, and very unchristian view of humanity with a global vision that makes ones blood run cold. Those of us who view this through the eyes of faith see the handwriting on the wall for Christians and the truths we hold dear. If it seems a bit far-fetched that such things as described above are on the horizon, one only need look at the man Pres. Obama chose to be his "science czar". John Holdren co-authored a textbook in the 70's that recommended radical methods of population control, which included forced abortions and sterilizations.
Why would Obama choose such a man? The whole Climate Change hysteria is simply a creation of the scientific elite to justify the draconian changes that are planned for our future. They will try to indoctrinate us with "education" and "eco-camps", but in the end, if you are not with them, you are against them. The Catholic Church stands in the way. So do people who love authentic liberty. It doesn't take a genius to see the violence that is in our future. Bill Gates (whose father once headed a local Planned Parenthood), convened a secret meeting back in May, which included among its participants David Rockefeller Jr., Warren Buffett and George Soros, financiers, Michael Bloomberg, mayor of New York, and media titans Ted Turner and Oprah Winfrey, to discuss strategies to defeat political and religious obstacles to global population control. According to a LifeSiteNews report, The Times (London) paraphrased the account given by one attendee of the secret meeting who spoke anonymously, saying, "a consensus emerged that they would back a strategy in which population growth would be tackled as a potentially disastrous environmental, social and industrial threat." If it all sounds too preposterous, too evil, too conspiratorial, to be real, you need only look at the activities of the UNFPA and other organs of the UN that are constantly pressuring and extorting Catholic countries to accept Reproductive Health Services, aka abortion and contraception. Global government with total control of all assets and resources, and population control (both from the standpoint of numbers, and also in the respect of micromanaging our lives) is the ultimate goal for our future unless we awaken and reclaim our birthright. When you recognize that, it is easy to see how troublesome Obama's policies and appointments are. And why they must be defeated. Again, those of us who view these developments through the eyes of faith recognize that these things would not be possible in a country that had not lost its respect for the sanctity of human life. One step follows another, and another after that. It is imperative that we relearn our respect for God, Truth, a sense of good and evil, and the sanctity of human life. If we let the government take charge of our health care, we will have lost our freedom. More than that, we will have given government the power to decide whose lives are not worthy of life. But, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14. I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Choose life, then, that you and your descendants may live. (Deut 31:19)
