Progressive realism vs. American idealism

Progressive Realism first appeared on earth in the Soviet performing arts and it was known as Socialist Realism. This profoundly political philosophy, veiled as an artistic paradigm, arrived in America from Communist Russia with the sole intent of invading American theater, American film and eventually American television as well.

Simultaneously in America there arose a political movement called the Progressives. The two most progressive personalities were, I believe, Vice-President Henry Wallace of the Franklin Roosevelt administration and Margaret Sanger, the founding mother of American eugenics - yes, "that perverse science," as Sir Winston Churchill described it, that was the driving ideological force behind the racism and racial supremacism of Nazi Germany.

Arriving in the arts as Socialist Realism, condoned, nurtured, funded, unrelentingly supported, and, in light of the 2007 progressively dominated American Congress, triumphant, Progressivism is the monstrous combination of the moral depravity of Marxism, the individual greed of some capitalists and the intellectual supremacism. In other words, a Progressive American, secretly aligned with both eugenics and Marxism, foresees the inevitable destruction of America as we have known it. With the human rights paragraph of the Declaration of Independence now decimated, burned and its ashes discarded by the Roe v. Wade decision of 1973, the United States of America has been so transformed that any hint of its previous idealism is swiftly vanishing.

What then of American idealism? Do the United States still have not only the good fortune, but the strength of their success in the Civil War, namely to keep the States a complete Union and end the horrors of slavery at the same time? Such will be needed in the coming battles over abortion. Legalized abortion is, needless to say, inhuman treatment to gestating human beings and profoundly un-American, if you judge by an American's "inalienable right to life." The now destroyed human rights paragraph of the Declaration of Independence was America's greatest life-giving force and the ultimate sword of truth which the North under the leadership of Abraham Lincoln drove through the heart of the South. That the South, in the form of the Texas Bush family and the Clinton Arkansas family, should further embolden America's frozen posture before the Roe v. Wade decision is only to be expected, the essentially Confederate intellectual supremacism having owned the White House for the last 18 to 20 years.

So there you have it. Progressive Realism, having totally invaded one American political party, the Democrats, and frozen the other party, the Republicans in a kind of dazed acceptance of Roe v. Wade and, most infuriatingly, let the more sanctimonious of the Republicans hide behind such craven euphemisms as Progressive Baptist or Progressive Evangelist or, more generally, Progressive Protestant. They all approve of abortion which in effect means that they don't mind if the human rights paragraph of the Declaration of Independence has been burned, put into flames, immolated as profoundly as the Twin Towers of 9/11 were.

That America will be obliged to enact another Civil War is undeniable, as far as I am concerned. Unless an American President is willing to overturn Roe v. Wade and forever put the Supreme Court in its place, ordering it to never defy the Declaration of Independence again, the entire human race will be swept up in a stampede toward Progressive Realism that will ultimately mean its self-destruction.

Why do I believe that Progressive Realism is a suicidal philosophy?

The pursuit of supremacy, the "survival of the fittest" required to enact it, the perfectionist obsession invoked to maintain it, all of these will so defy man's eternal need for his own humanity that the winners of mankind's race into Progressive Realism will no longer want to live.

You may very well ask, "Why?"

There will no longer be a love of life, there will only be a love of perfection. ESR
