Senator Reid prepares us for our second civil war

“Obstructing Obama Care is like obstructing the abolition of slavery!”
Are them fightin’ words, or what?!
And we, who want to “abolish” the tax-funded abortion contained in Obama Care, are the bad guys.
We are apparently the Confederate States challenging the authority of our President of the United States.
Of course, Obama is Abe Lincoln, women are enslaved by pregnancy and we are the rebels who keep them there, right?
That, at least, is how Senator Harry Reid is setting things up for this showdown at the Barack Obama … uh … B.O. Corral.
Isn’t there something rather wrong with this picture?
Possibly upside down?
Maybe I’m a foolish romantic, as many Progressives would label me, but saving someone’s life is almost as good or perhaps even more important than saving and protecting our fellow citizen’s freedom. If our neighbor is not even allowed to live, by virtue of abortion, it would be rather difficult … in fact rather insane … to protect that neighbor’s infancy and his or her right to soil his diapers.
Yes, I think this historically proven tradition in the United States, outlined in detail by our nation’s Declaration of Independence and its subsequent Constitution, plus the Bill of Rights, is the backbone of our resistance to the Progressive Agenda!
Our resistance to the Obama “Transformation of America” has the President’s sidekick, Senator Reid, preparing us all for a civil war … a possibility which the Obama Team has obviously been contemplating for some time.
Such a conflict would, of course, make the President, at least in our eyes, not Abraham Lincoln but rather Jefferson Davis, the President of the Southern Confederacy. The Progressive Movement’s demands for the expansion of legalized abortion into being subsidized by the Federal Government? That indeed resembles the Confederate South’s demands for the expansion of legalized slavery into the western states of America.
Since Barack Obama seems more interested in being the CEO of an increasingly insulated Czardom Inc. rather than the Executive presiding over Congress, the Supreme Court and the Justice Departments of America … the Obama Nation grows more like a Southern Confederacy everyday.
And Harry Reid wants to paint us as the bad guys, the Confederate Rebels.
Hmmm … in your dreams, Harry!
So far the President’s idea of “transparency” is the exact opposite of what most people might expect. In fact, most of what he seems intent upon forcing down America’s throat grows increasingly antithetical to what has always been typically American.
Can, indeed, the “moral high ground” be ours … and this Progressive Government dredging up a kind of Death Panel Dixie?
President Obama seems to be treating his entire tenure in office as a “teachable moment”.
From this lofty and professorial perch, the Progressive Faculty, however, has an increasingly rebellious student body which we most frequently call Americans. The lessons which the Obama Nation is determined to teach us are apparently not unlike the swiftly unraveling crises of Climategate.
There is something about Obama Urgency that rings increasingly hollow with each and every day.
“It must be done now!!”
We’re no longer so sure about that, Mr. President.
Senator Reid’s comparing Progressive Health Care to the abolition of slavery is a rather bizarre escalation of a political battle into the symbolism of our American Civil War. Are The Progressive Democrats trying to tell us something – that the seriousness of their intent has the lock ‘n load gravity of military combat?
If so, what will provoke the first shot on Fort Tea Party?
We’ve already seen over 100 shots fired at Fort Hood … but then again that is not an act of war. That’s the Obama Nation’s “Man Made Disaster!”
The President, however, doesn’t want us to “jump to conclusions”.
Will the Progressive Health Care Package’s possible failure in Congress, the absence of both tax-funded abortion and the Public Option, will that be a “Last Straw” for the White House?
Will such a debacle bode ill for the Cap and Trade legislation coming up?
Can the Progressive Agenda only be instituted under martial law?
Will the United Nations be called upon – like the Confederacy called upon the French – to provide troops to quell the Tea Party Protests?
An Obama/UN Alliance to make the repression look all so internationally agreed upon?
What is in the back of Senator Reid’s bellicose mind when he throws such Civil War coinage on the bargaining table?
Is the Progressive Coalition prepared for a civil war which the Senate Majority Leader has already warned us of?
Do the President and Senator Reid really believe that they hold the “moral high ground”?
Or does the Progressive Coalition, as I suspect, believe that morality is utterly irrelevant in the face of what they call “scientific necessity” … that urgent call to protect any and all Progress of Science, despite some of the growing inaccuracies found in the recent “findings” of Science?
To put it politely, “inaccurate” is my label for a Progressive Science that must re-coin a “Global Warming” into a “Global Change”.
What is increasingly transparent about the Obama administration is its narcissistic blindness, its insular and incestuous self-obsession.
The Opposition, the Republicans and a growing number of Independents in this instance, are protesting more loudly everyday.
Even Senator McCain is losing his usual diplomatic charm and allowing his temper to flare with each new and arrogant display of Progressive egomania.
As Glenn Beck and friends, such as Andrew Breitbart’s Big Government, throw more and more light upon the Obama Administration’s increasingly impenetrable transparency, the popularity and approval ratings for President Obama drop.
Though the military muscle the President put into his Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech lifted his ratings a few points, his promise to “fundamentally change the United States of America” has made Harry Reid color blind. What he thinks of as the Blue of Yankee uniforms is actually the Grey of the Obama Nation’s increasingly desperate Confederacy.
A rag-tag gang of Czars and Far Left Rebels.
Mr. President, America is not even Czarist Russia, let alone the Nationalist China that your Czardom’s hero, Mao Tse Tung, murderously forced into his back pocket.
Harry Reid has warned us about just how serious you have been and will be regarding “Change” that obviously only you and your Czarist Democratic Party can believe in.
Harry Reid, more like Jefferson Davis than Abraham Lincoln, is ready for Civil War!
Therefore the first shot, in this instance, must be yours, Mr. President.
Fire it … and we fire back with impeachment, sir!
