America’s Suicidal Turning Point: Chapter Three
By Michael Moriarty
Richard Nixon and the embarrassing success of being earnestly a Quaker.
This hard-working, A+ student of Whittier, California worked so diligently to please his Quaker community, while, in the end, despite a landslide re-election as President, he couldn’t help himself from “going the extra mile” and, basically, becoming a criminal.
Think of how happy he and his wife might have been had he never become President of the United States.
As quoted in his Wikipedia biography: “Nixon was reluctant to work on divorce cases, disliking frank sexual talk from women.”
How could such a dedicated prude
He decided to become a politician.
And he became the perfect Republican Pin-up Boy for the Democrat Party.
Quakers refrain from alcohol, dancing and swearing.
Perhaps he wanted to “get caught”!
Now the Democrats think that they can entrap President Donald Trump in the same nightmare they draped around Richard Nixon.
Trump and Nixon are clearly not the same brand of President.
Their histories are both equally ambitious.
Then what’s the difference?
President Trump is not a prude.
He’s proven to be shameless actually.
He doesn’t think he’s guilty of anything except genius!
Try as hard as they may, so far, the efforts to impeach President Trump have begun to look increasingly like the President’s middle name: bankruptcy.
The Russia Investigation?!
The Democrats have set themselves up for their biggest historical embarrassment: the failure to impeach President Donald Trump.
Meanwhile, Trump is, after four bankruptcies, utterly immune to shame.
What will his second term look like?
Nixon’s second term?
I doubt it.
As his high school career in football went, Richard Nixon was always fated to remain on the bench.
When he tried to leave it for the Big Time?!
Whereas Donald Trump?!
He was always fated to OWN THE STADIUM!
