The President's only friend left...
By Michael Moriarty One would hardly think of Charles Krauthammer as naïve. The thought, when considering the sobering vision of his stern face, is almost laughable. However, for me, it was almost a reason for tears to hear the man claim that the Cold War is over. He said that, in light of the Cold War being over, the President's diplomatic dances at the recent nuclear arms summit meeting in Washington were window-dressing and nothing of value was accomplished, which was no surprise to any of us. However, that there should be no further worries about a nuclear exchange between America and what now everyone, including the good doctor, must consider Vladimir Putin's neo-Soviet Russia?! No Cold War. President Ronald Reagan, of all people, received a warmer reception from Mikhail Gorbachev than President Obama has received from either the President of Red China, before whom he bowed, or the still, Cold War veneer of Vladimir Putin. Add those two cold fish to the rogue, nuclear nations like North Korea and the would-be nuclear Iran of Red Islam … hmmm … can anyone be sure that the Cold War is over? I believe that the Cold War, with the heads of Russia and China lowering their temperatures with every visit, is heating up both at home and abroad. The Tea Partiers are Reagan in Berlin declaring, "Tear that Health Care Bill down and its authors out of office!" Unless Dr. Krauthammer believes that President Obama's adolescent and public obeisance to his veteran fellow Marxists are sufficient appeasement, and that indeed such an embarrassingly Red sycophant as President Obama is not going to whet the known, power-lusts of Communist, intramural competition, then, indeed, the Cold War must be over. What must we call the still disturbing competition between the Soviets and Red China? A welcome sign for the old America but a disturbing preview of relations between the Communist behemoths and the Progressively Obamatized United States. Having a Marxist with proven, Islamic sympathies in the White House, one willing to debase America's military defenses before its oldest enemies, I am sure that, instead of the Cold War certainty of Mutually-Assured-Destruction, we are offering an American, nuclear invitation to war. In the face of even parity with not one but two Communist nations, we are, on the whole, at a considerable disadvantage which Obama has now made even more pronounced. Perhaps those obvious concerns are what Charles Krauthammer is clearly pointing to. However, his words, "The Cold War is over"?! In terms of a possible World War III, I believe we are in worse shape now than we ever were under Eisenhower or even Kennedy. Putin is retaking old Soviet holdings with every venomous tool he can think of. The cream of the entire and still-free Polish government went down in a plane crash headed for a meeting with the Russians about one of the most embarrassing moments in Soviet history? The standing Polish government is suddenly gone, in one fell swoop?! The Soviet dissident, Alexander Litvinenko, went down in a British hospital dying from an atomic substance only available to the kind of KGB thugs he was meeting for a meal?! Kyrgyzstan and Georgia are two former Soviet provinces now in prolonged tension with a Putinized Moscow. The Cold War is over?! As for Red China and its rabid attack dog, North Korea, the Cold War is over?! Because our President is such an experienced Marxist, the Communist nations now think America is their friend?! There are no friends in Communism! The only friend Communists are allowed to have is Communism!! Whose version, however, is it going to be? Stalinism, Maoism, Putinism? Or Obamanism?! Right now my bets are not on the United States about anything. Once my homeland buries Roe v Wade in an eternal grave, my optimism will return. Until then, American self-delusion, from Roe v Wade on, has only thickened. Even the recent Republican Party's renewed hopes of retaking Congress and eventually the White House will not be confirmed for long if legalized abortion continues. The Roe v Wade decision was, is and always will remain, like the Dred Scott decision, homicidal and suicidal, American hypocrisy. The American Supreme Court has appeased the Progressive Feminists in the same way it had tried to appease the Southern Confederacy. We all know how that turned out. Obama actually thinks he can crush the Tea Partiers in the same way Lincoln crushed the South. As a Progressive, a Radical Progressive, he doesn't know the meaning of good and evil. He thinks that because Maoism is still victorious that Obamanism will be victorious as well. He will, I guarantee you, bring down both Maoism and his own efforts to build his Obama Nation out of the entire world. He will find, in the end, that even his only friend left, Communism, will turn on him. His end will, I guarantee you, prove conclusively that the entire Communist experiment and objectives were ultimately suicidal, born of Karl Marx's undeniably self-loathing anti-Semitism. A man, from whose childhood both his parents ran, could not prove to be ultimately as self-loathing as Karl Marx?
