Pro-criminal axis vs rule of law By John Bender One wouldn't know it from reports in the dinosaur media, but the new Arizona law making it against state law for illegal aliens to be in Arizona mirrors the federal immigration laws. This new law does nothing more than bring state law into agreement with federal law by making federal crimes state too. For many decades there have been state laws and federal laws against certain crimes. For example, every state in the Union has a law against bank robbery even though there is a federal law against bank robbery as well. Of course, that hasn't stopped the pro-criminal axis from throwing all sorts of hate speech at the state of Arizona and against the pro-rule-of-law people who favor the law. The pro-criminal axis of special interest groups, who profit from exploiting the illegal aliens, includes sleazy political hacks, criminal employers, and apostate clergy who see the illegal aliens as cash cows replacing the declining numbers of people attending their churches and dropping money in their collection plates. It also includes the race pimps and poverty pimps who profit from maintaining a permanent underclass and shyster open borders lawyers who find supporting the criminals more lucrative than chasing ambulances. This pro-criminal minority accuses the pro-rule-of-law majority of being racists and xenophobic. They ignore the fact that the illegal aliens cost the nation billions of dollars in services, drive down wages and increase crime. They also ignore the fact that blacks and Hispanics are hurt worst by the invasion of illegal aliens. When confronted with the facts, the pro-criminal axis resorts to name calling and riots. Well, Cesar Chavez, founder of the United Farm Workers of America, was opposed to illegal immigration. Mr. Chavez knew that illegal immigration drove down wages of legal workers especially among the lowest paid in our society. A disproportionate number of our lowest paid citizens and legal resident aliens are black and Hispanic. As the liberal and generally pro-criminal, columnist, Ruben Navarrette Jr., admitted in a column in the Arizona Republic: "Cesar Chavez, a labor leader intent on protecting union membership, was as effective a surrogate for the INS as ever existed. Indeed, Chavez and the United Farm Workers he headed routinely reported, to the INS, for deportation, suspected illegal immigrant workers who served as strike breakers or refused to unionize." In 1969 Mr. Chavez even led a march from the Coachella and Imperial Valleys to the Mexican border to protest the INS' less than stringent enforcement of immigration laws. If opposition to illegal immigration makes one a racist, Mr. Chavez must have been a racist. It's also instructive to note that many of the criminal employers, who are backing the pro-criminal politicians, used illegal aliens as scabs to break Mr. Chavez's strikes. In 1979 Mr. Chavez testified before Congress; "... when the farm workers strike and their strike is successful, the employers go to Mexico and have unlimited, unrestricted use of illegal alien strikebreakers to break the strike. And, for over 30 years, the Immigration and Naturalization Service has looked the other way and assisted in the strikebreaking. I do not remember one single instance in 30 years where the Immigration service has removed strikebreakers. ... The employers use professional smugglers to recruit and transport human contraband across the Mexican border for the specific act of strikebreaking..." Of course, the pro-criminal axis never mentions this. Mr. Chavez must be rolling in his grave. Were he here today, he'd be fighting the pro-criminal axis and supporting the Arizona law. Unlike Al Sharpton, Mr. Chavez would have supported the mostly black construction workers who were working to rebuild after Hurricane Katrina and were fired because "the Mexicans had arrived". Sharpton and the other pro-criminal scum bags did nothing to support these Americans who didn't like being replaced by scofflaws who were willing to work for less money. The Washington Times reported the story on April 10, 2006:
These American workers who lost everything in the hurricane got no help from the government when the criminal contractors replaced them with scofflaw illegal aliens. In fact the government kicked them while they were down. The Washington Times reported: "Would-be employers in Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi, awash in cleanup and reconstruction jobs, faced little in the way of legal problems in hiring the illegal aliens after Katrina because the Department of Homeland Security temporarily suspended the sanctioning of employers who hired workers unable to document their citizenship." The government that is supposed to protect Americans spit on Americans devastated by Katrina by telling criminal employers they faced no penalty for violating immigration laws or for replacing American workers with illegal aliens. The pro-criminal axis attacked anyone who objected to this crap as racist. But, the Katrina story is just one example out of millions of examples of the damage illegal aliens do to the most vulnerable Americans and legal resident aliens. Since the 2007 start of the great recession, the sharpest rise in unemployment is highest among blacks and legal Hispanics. These Americans and legal aliens could use the millions of jobs the illegal aliens are taking. Sharpton and the rest of the pro-criminal axis don't care about these Americans and legal aliens; they are siding with the criminals against these law-abiding people. The radical leftist, Congresswoman Maxine Waters, speaking on CNBC's "Power Lunch" on May 18, 2007 said;"Close the border! ... If they pay decent wage, Americans will take most of those jobs. There are many Americans all over this country, who are signaling to this Government saying "don't give us the crap about you will not be able to run your business and it's going to be inflationary." Ms. Waters continued; "Close that border ... give us the jobs ... and deal with the people that are here already."…. "close it all down" It will be interesting to see if Ms Waters can get the Congressional Black Caucus to side with American blacks and legal resident aliens and support the Arizona law. One would think that the Congressional Black Caucus would be leading the fight to root out these illegal aliens and the criminal employers who exploit them given the damage they do to the black community. At the time Ms. Waters spoke out against the invasion of illegal aliens the dinosaur media simply ignored her. There was no way they could get away with calling Waters a racist so they simply ignored her astute comments. Pro-criminal groups are organizing boycotts of Arizona because of the immigration reform they passed. The pro-rule-of –law majority must fight back with boycotts in support of the law. The pro-criminal hacks who run San Francisco have cut off city paid trips to Arizona. Pro-rule-of-law citizens must demand that their cities and states cut off all taxpayer paid trips to San Francisco. Drop out of any group that cancels a meeting or convention in Arizona. If Major League Baseball pulls the All Star Game from Arizona stop attending Major League games. Stop buying Major League merchandise. The majority of Americans support Arizona's immigration reform law and it is time for the majority to stand up to the pro-criminal minority. John Bender is a freelance writer living in Texas.
