Meganomicism, Part Four: Charitably veiled power and influence

By Michael Moriarty
web posted June 2, 2008

They are so much alike, the Bushes and the Clintons. Two families of equally bottomless ambition for power, money and influence. The men are Southern patriarchs soaked with heavily Christian, missionary zeal. Hillary is Bill's version of George Bush Senior's George Bush Junior. They are there, all eager and waggy-tailed to carry on the shared, family legacy of money, power and influence … exactly as their shared University of Yale inspired them to.

William Clinton, however, created … holds … and leads as Man's first and hopefully last Great Meganomicist. The Clinton Global Initiative is, like Planned Parenthood, a multimillion-dollar, non-profit, profiting charity with religiously intense overtones.

So far, however, the Clinton Global Initiative hunts a cure for AIDS with about as much zeal and effectiveness as the Bush administration hunts for Osama bin Laden.

After almost nine years in the private sector, former President William Clinton is personally worth over one hundred million dollars. That is the stated Clinton worth in joint income tax disclosures; however, the lion's share of the income is Mr. Clinton's.

Has any President in American history, and in so short a time, so profited? The Clintons have gone from a million dollars in debt to their Presidential lawyers into the yearly income of an oil magnate. Has any ex-President ever become so wealthy so fast … or so protected by the Clinton Global Initiative's philanthropic intentions?

CNN says Mr. Clinton earns his many millions of dollars a year lecturing … hmmm.

The extent to which all of the three estates of government and the fourth estate of the press are enabling Clintonian Meganomics depends upon their instinct to never press any question too far.

Lectures?

Sure … why not?

With Bill Clinton the virtual CEO of what amounts to an American, Meganomical empire composed of profit, non-profit and "Progressively Christian" enterprises, the Bush family's bipartisan dream of a "Pax Americana", one modeled upon the "Pax Romana" of emperor Octavius Caesar, is now in effect.

So basically, and to be as succinct as possible about the tragic situation the entire human race is in: The world hangs between the Imperial aims of three major movements – Communism (and its Marxist spin-offs), Islamic expansionism (and 9/11 extremism) and American Meganomicism (including its good, old–fashioned, legendary greed).

It is vital to know that Senator Barack Obama and his mentor, George Soros, are quite outside the very Clinton/Bush American capitals of Meganomics which are now seated simultaneously in the New York State and City of the Clintons and the Washington, D. C., of the Bush family.

Chicago, Illinois, is the capital of the Obama/Soros challenge to Clinton/Bush Meganomics. The strong loyalties of George Soros to the neo-Soviet Russia of Vladimir Putin place the Obama/Soros camp entirely outside the realm of Clinton/Bush Meganomics. Soros and Obama practice and preach a rather modified version of International Marxism. That is why the Obama theme of "Change" could prove much more drastic than anticipated by the American press.

However, do Clinton/Bush Meganomics have anything to do with the original dreams contained within the human rights paragraph of the Declaration of Independence?

To answer that question we must rewrite that human rights paragraph to fit the non-profit/profiting religion of Meganomicism.

These are America's new human rights under Progressive Meganomicism: "Since nothing is self-evident … until scientifically proven so, we hold a few realities to be morally relative: that all men and women … until, of course, they attain their third trimester of gestation … are conceived as possible candidates for abortion. If they are allowed to enter this world, they are endowed with one right, and one right only: to progressively obey their Progressive leadership, and to follow that scientifically proven wisdom … into further Progressively moral relativity."

Is that morally flexible enough for you? It's certainly enough grease to slicken the highway upon which the Clinton/Bush Meganomics rode in on … and with which they have owned the White House for twenty years.

This is the last editorial in my Meganomicism series. I trust, however, my future references to what I consider the undeniable, megalomaniacal … or, as the New York Times once describe the behavior of the Clinton Attorney General Janet Reno … the "near psychosis" of Meganomicism, I hope that my use of the word Meganomics will now be fully understood.

In conclusion, we face the inevitable and possibly prophetic clash between American Meganomicism, Chinese and neo-Soviet Communism and Islamic expansionism. The point I am obviously making is that Meganomicism is an Imperial vision and has absolutely nothing to do with either the American Declaration of Independence or the American Constitution. The American credentials within Meganomicism are geographic only and have little or nothing to do with either human equality or democracy as its meaning was once understood.

As the Supreme Court's intellectual supremacism defended slavery with the Dred Scott decision, that same body of enlightened despots has declared abortion legal with Roe v. Wade. As with slavery, abortion may take an additional 50 years of legality for its inhumanity to be recognized and overturned. However, America's resigned acceptance of legalized abortion has virtually unleashed the hidden ruthlessness of Meganomicism, the voraciously greedy religion that veils its lust for money and power with the empty good intentions of non-profit organizations such as Planned Parenthood and the Clinton Global Initiative.

Clearly Meganomicism is history's most globally flagrant display of human hypocrisy. It is greed and a lust for power veiled beneath the "good intentions" of a freshly conceived, redesigned and Progressively redefined Judeo-Christianity.

Karl Marx only redefined the modern science of economics.

Bush/Clinton Meganomics redefines a much older manual for life: the Holy Bible. ESR
