Site of the Month - July 1997 The Museum of Communism (http://www.princeton.edu/~bdcaplan/museum/musframe.htm) The Museum of Communism fills a void that has largely been overlooked on the Internet, a thoughtful and academic look at the effects of Communism on its people. The site begins by explaining the origins of communism, and even posits an interesting theory about how Czarism also played a role in its development. From that beginning are a number of virtual exhibits, some open, some yet to be, which cover everything from humour at the expense of Communism to an Holocausts of Communism test for you to take. In the future visitors will be able to add their own exhibits to the museum. Definitely a must visit! |
