The Harris-Walz ticket: A perilous threat to liberty and national security

There was a lot to take in last week regarding the future of our nation. The anniversary of the 9/11 Islamist attack being the first. That attack resulted in two military operations to contain the future threat of Islamic terror, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. By extension, those operations fired a loud and clear shot over the bows of our most dangerous and formidable adversaries, Red China, Russia, and Iran.

But since 2021, after the disastrous and deadly Biden/Harris surrender and retreat from Afghanistan, those adversaries have been greatly emboldened by the abject ineptitude of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Should that ineptitude be renewed for another four years as the Harris/Walz regime, our nation is going to face much graver danger from these adversaries.

A few days later we observed the 237th anniversary of the signing of our Constitution at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1787. It is the most consequential governing document in the history of mankind, a dramatic departure from the rule of tyrants over the course of all preceding generations and a stark contrast to those totalitarian regimes that have risen since.

The Constitution codified and enshrined the foundation of American Liberty enumerated in our Declaration of Independence, providing the assurance that Rule of Law (Liberty) would prevail over rule of men (tyranny).

Arguably, though, not since the War Between the States commenced in 1861 has our Constitution's assurance of Liberty been under such perilous domestic threat of erosion and dissolution.

Our nation has been through very dark times since then, most notably the Great Depression, two World Wars, and the aforementioned 9/11 Islamist attack on our own soil. But those threats were well-defined, and the Republic endured.

However, the imminent domestic threat to our Constitution now is very deceptive, especially because the mainstream and social media platforms where most people get their information are providing full cover for this political ruse.

This domestic-enemies threat to Liberty is being led by those who have forsaken their sacred oaths "to support and defend" our Constitution, in deference to their socialist political agenda. And that agenda is wholly antithetical to our Constitution and Liberty.

Our Constitution is the greatest obstacle to their agenda, and they are determined to undermine its authority.

In the year before Kamala Harris executed the Democrat Party's previously scripted plan to replace Joe Biden as the Democrat presidential nominee, without Harris winning a single Democrat primary vote, the Biden/Harris battle cry was the breathless branding of their political adversary, Donald Trump, as the most "dangerous threat to democracy."

The proliferation of this fallacious "democracy" rhetoric was very deliberate in its obfuscation of the fact we are a Republic, not a democracy. It also reveals the real threat to the Liberty enshrined in our Constitution — the Harris/Walz ticket and their leftist Demo cadres.

In his 1833 Commentaries on the Constitution of the United States, Justice Joseph Story warned about the distinction: "Republics are created by the virtue, public spirit, and intelligence of the citizens. They fall, when the wise are banished from the public councils, because they dare to be honest, and the profligate are rewarded, because they flatter the people, in order to betray them."

"The profligate are rewarded, because they flatter the people, in order to betray them." Sound familiar?

Today, too many Americans, most of whom are good people, are simply unable to discern the difference between a Republic and a democracy; thus, the calculated misuse of those labels by Biden and Harris to describe the most "dangerous threat to democracy" is swallowed whole.

As the greatest of American presidents in the last century, Ronald Reagan, reminded us, "The trouble with our Liberal friends is not that they're ignorant; it's just that they know so much that isn't so." And never have so many known "so much that isn't so" than in this current era of mass misinformation.

But that is not true of the Marxist protagonists now fused with the Harris/Walz tag team — they know the difference and know exactly what they are doing. These useful idiots even compared Biden to George Washington after the swap was complete.

This deception is at once a remarkable yet disgraceful effort to shred our Constitution. Recent commentary by The New York Times betrayed just how much Demos fear the Constitution, as it predictably made no mention of the word "Republic."

In her chameleonic effort to erase the bold line between herself and Trump, Harris is mimicking his policies.

Thanks to socialist Bernie Sanders for alerting the nation about her political charade. Asked by a reporter, "Do you think Kamala is abandoning her progressive ideals?" Sanders responded: "No, I don't think she's abandoning her ideals. I think she's trying to be pragmatic and doing what she thinks is right in order to win the election."

In fact, Harris is far more "progressive" than her Demo predecessors.

The good news is that the Harris/Walz polling bounce we predicted after the Demo convention has started to fade as the "JOY" campaign collides with reality.

Harris is not qualified in any respect to be president of the United States. Unfortunately, in the debate between Harris and Trump this week, Trump failed to make that clear. That failure was in part because of disgracefully biased moderation and in part because of his typical rambling digressions.

The most significant thing we do know about Harris's disqualification to ever serve as commander-in-chief is her selection of Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate, whose long record of stolen valor and other career embellishments is well documented.

Every week, we post Profiles of Valor about those American Patriots who have abided by their oaths and have consequently paid for our Liberty with their blood and lives.

In his "Open Letter to All Americans" last week, my friend GEN B.B. Bell (USA, Ret.), who served in uniform for almost four decades, including extended deployments overseas in both peace and war, reminded all Americans how important the upcoming election is:

God-fearing patriotic Americans owe it to our children and our grandchildren to fully and passionately reject the Marxist dictums aspired to by Harris and her inner circle. Should she become president, your rights and freedoms as guaranteed by the Bill of Rights will be vastly eroded by a torrent of Marxist-appointed bureaucrats brought to Washington by Harris and her associates. They will overwhelm our governmental institutions.

Regardless of what Harris says, the hard truth is that in her administration, thousands of dedicated and passionate Marxists will be at the helm in all of America's agencies and departments, and they will take control of your lives and your fortunes, large or small. The Marxists will strangle and destroy the Bill of Rights, regardless of congressional oversight or Supreme Court rulings. Cabinet bureaucrats, especially the Justice Department, are simply that powerful, strong, and intrusive. If you think our Supreme Court or Congress has the power to protect your personal rights and freedoms, your head is buried deeply in the sand.

For freedom's sake, please reject this Marxist march to insanity and thus the destruction of these United States. Vote for Trump as our next president. Vote early and ensure 10 of your friends vote for him also. It is our very last hope to save our cherished democracy, our personal freedoms, and our inalienable rights.

For those who fail to take this advice, the bloody consequences will be on your hands.

Finally, on sustaining our Legacy of Liberty, President Reagan declared: "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free."

For those who fail to understand this warning, the tyrannical consequences will be on your hands. ESR
